An important, perhaps life changing transition has begun here at the This Alaskan Backyard household. In fact, as far as this blog is concerned, the transformation is a complete overhaul. We are moving, as it seems, to Switzerland. For the time being I am actually in Hungary visiting family and taking care of things with the children and J is still in Fairbanks for a bit longer. In this regard, we still have ties to, and a backyard in, Alaska.
However it feels like we are in between two worlds. One of them seems so far away right now. The other, still uncertain and new and strange and yet utterly intriguing. This picture of Small Moose with his cousins is a fitting symbol for how things are right now. Up in the air.
